The Great God Pan

Forgot to mention that I devoured Arthur Machen's classic novella, The Great God Pan while on one of my business trips. Wow, I wish that book had never ended. Talk about an incredibe read. Not one page of true gore or blood, yet the entire story was dripping with terror, horror, dread and suspense. I loved how he interwove a number of different roads that all led to the same end, with everyone connected to the mystery girl. I now have to check out the rest of Mr. Machen's collection, because if anything else is like Pan, I can't wait. Highly recommended...
