Taking a couple days off..

Currently on page 62 of the script and feeling very good about the last couple chapters. My hero has just left the hellhole he woke up in, and now the fun begins as he starts his journey to finding out the truth about himself and the world around him...not to mention getting the revenge he deserves.

Father in law is in town for a couple days, as well as a good friend from back East. Plus, I have a work activity tomorrow night (I'm in a skit for the yearly talent show!!!) that won't get me home til late. I'm going to step away from the novel for three nights and take a breather. Five months til the end of the year. I wonder if I can achieve my goal of typing "The End" by Dec 31? I think I can do it!!

Found out today that Alias starts up again in two months - CAN'T WAIT!! Although, Jen Garner's real life pregnancy puts a major damper on the season, as she won't be able to run around and kick some ass. Best line of last season was when she was all tied up by some bad guy and he asked her for her name. She said "I'm a gonna" and the bad guy was confused. Then she said "I'm a gonna kick your ass!"...and she did. What are the odds her marriage remains intact?
Also can't wait for Lost to begin. Wow, what a first season. I loved every single episode and can't wait to buy the DVD. Currently the best show on TV - Rescue Me. Love it.
