Those pesky kids...and other problems!

Well, my twins have now decided to wake up at 5:30 every morning because they know how hard their poor daddy has been working...both at work and late at night on his novel. And to make matters worse, one of the fire alarms in our small house has decided not to work anymore by emitting loud and annoying beeps at the crack of dawn. And when we think the problem has been fixed, it acts up again!!! I can't remember the last time I got a good night's sleep. Why can't these problems take place in the AFT or evening? And my boys...as much as I love em, this 5:30 thing is KILLIN ME!!!! At least my daughter still sleeps til 7AM. God bless her!!

Working on my novel - around page 50 right now. We learn something interesting about a main character. Oh, he's a bad man :) I'm currently reading Little, Big by John Crowley and I can't decide if I like it or not. On the one hand, the way he writes is very "magical" and reminds me a lot of Gaiman. But on the other hand, there are pages and pages that could have been cut out. And there are parts of the novel where I don't get understand what he's saying. I'm only on page 150 or so. Will definitely read through it, I just hope it picks up a bit.
