On the road...

I'm currently in Miami at the tail end of a big project, and I've been completely occupied from 9AM to 8PM, and then we've gone out in South Beach big time the last couple of nights. Was out til 4AM last night in this weird bar/club. Can't remember the last time I've done that. I ain't 22 anymore. The good news is that I feel great!!! Wow, this town is amazing. And I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing!

I've been able to write/edit another 10 pages and I'm currently on page 60. A good friend of mine gave me a great idea/piece of advice that I probably need to include another HUMAN character to give the story and the protagonist another way of upping the stakes a bit more...especially for the protagonist. Right now he's flying pretty much solo, but it makes sense to add some more tension, especially if his buddy gets the old heave-ho during the book :)
Three months til Borderlands Boot Camp and I'm convinced my novel makes no sense and they are going to laugh their asses off at me...we'll see. My confidence level in everything in life BUT my writing is very high. Let's see if that changes after January.

Mets suck. Pissed me off to no end all year. Such potential and it was wasted. I guess there is next year. On the other end of the spectrum, my Badgers are unfreakinreal right now. Beating the Wolverines for the first time in years and now ranked 17th in the country - Go Alvarez!! It would be amazing if this continued...
