Pumping out words like they are going out of style. No clue if they are good or not, but at least it feels good to get them out there on paper. I just spent some time on Steven Berry's blog/website (steveberry.org), the best selling "Dan Brown" type thriller writer. None of his books have been strongly reviewed, but I should read at least one of them. Long story short is that he spent 12 years writing the same novel before it finally sold. He writes these big concept thrillers involving secret societies, lost manuscripts, tons of action...the reviews aren't good but people love em and he sells tons of books :)

Finished reading Demons, by John Shirely. Disappointed. It started off really well, but the "horror" was lost about halfway through the book. It turned into something else entirely. Ah well. Instead of reading Scar Night, I'm reading The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman. Supposed to be an amazing fantasy, part of a trilogy...and the movie comes out in Dec. The teaser trailer looks awesome. Can't wait!!

Chow!
