Very productive
Took Thurs off to spend half the day writing and the other half hangin with the family.
Babysitter came at 9:30AM, but one of my boys didn't want me to leave. By the time I got out of the house and to the local Borders (the Barnes & Noble doesn't have any jacks to connect - weird) it was a bit after 10AM. Then spent the next 2 hours and change doing nothing but writing. Wrote a new chapter and expanded sections of previous chapters, based on some good edits from a co-worker. I think I'm just going to plow through the first draft and not worry about continuity issues and such. Want to finish the first draft and then go back and spend time editing and reviewing.
I could have easily spent the entire day at Borders...but with 3 kids, it ain't that easy!
Almost finished reading "The Road" by McCarthy. Great book. Will probably read "Dusk" by Tim Lebbon next - www.timlebbon.net
Going to write more late tonight.
