Some decisions are boneheaded

For some reason I decided to change my novel from chapters to parts. I thought it might make the story flow differently, more succiently, and be a little different. Turns out I was writing based on the "part" and not the overall story, and made things more difficult. Soooo, I'm now switching back to chapters. I'm on page 75 or so, and I think this draft is one hundred times better than my previous draft. Now I just need to go back and figure out where each chapter ends.
Finished reading Vampire Hunter D, Vol. 2 - not as strong as Vol 1, but very enjoyable. My next book is The Road, by Cormac McCarthy. My wife read it and absolutely loved it. She said it stays with you for a while. The reviews have been amazing, so I can't wait! After that, I have about a gazillion horror/dark fantasy books I need to read. The HWA recently published their "On Writing Horror" book. I'm going to buy that and see what they say.
