Crankin out pages
Been a while since my last post (I know...broken record), but times they are a busy!!
Spent 1 1/2 at Borders yesterday working on Ch. 16, which I hope is a cool flashback for a major character. Involves a bit of action, but more importanty, a look into what makes the man! Right now I'm on page 94, and I've got another 40 pages from a really early draft I need to rewrite and change.
I recently made a tough decision (for me at least) to cut back on my TV viewing so I can devote more time to writing. Decided to stop watching Heroes, and get the DVD when it's released after the season ends. Also decided to stop watching ER, which my wife still loves. I can't get rid of LOST yet, no can i stop watching 24, American Idol, Grey's Anatomy or a couple others...But we'll see. I'm still trying to hold to my goal of having a real first draft completed by 5/1.
Oscars tonight - hoping The Departed sweeps the major awards, and Pan's Labryinth wins as well.
Currently reading Salem's Lot. Never read it before, and really enjoying it so far. After that I'll probably read something called The Ghost Writer, and then the 5th Harry Potter book. I know I'm way behind in that series, but I'll catch up :)
Boys are napping right now, wife is food shopping and daughter is on a play date - house is nice and quiet...I guess I should be writing!! OK, chow for now.
