I'm not sure why, but the more I think about it, the more I think King Kong was just OK. I definitely don't need to own it on DVD. Something about it just didn't sit right with me. I think it was a combination of the sappy, 1930s dialogue plus that ridiculously bad stampede scene plus the fact that we really never learned WHY Kong fell in love with Ann Darrow. Maybe I missed that part...
Have to see Syriana, Munich, Narnia (taking my daughter on Friday - can't wait!!), a French thriller with Juliette Binoche, and still really want to see Aeon Flux, but that'll be out on DVD soon. Want to buy Exorcism of Emily Rose on DVD, as I missed it in the theaters but think I'll love it. And one of my guilty pleasures - Transporter 2 - comes out in a couple weeks. Yay!
Anyway, wrote another 4 pages. I know it's not much, but it's now well past midnight and I'm just tired. Sam had been sleeping through the night without a peep for well over a week, and then all of a sudden woke up about 20 minutes ago and started screaming. Hard for me to write during that. I think he's just stopped. But he could be taking a break. Time to wash up and go to bed. Hopefully :) G'night.
