Harry Potter movie...and what not

Saw Goblet of Fire over the weekend - went to a 10:30PM showing with a friend. I enjoyed the movie a lot, but...maybe because I had just devoured over 700 pages of the book, I felt a bit disjointed. A bit out of whack after seeing the movie. I know it's impossible to film all 750 pages, and corners must be cut. BUT, it felt very weird to see the Quidditch World Cup take up no more than 5 minutes of the movie. I could go on and on about the cuts the movie made, but won't. It's too late and I'm tired :)

Twins are sick again. Sam was up literally every two hours on Sat night - my saint of a wife tried sleeping with him, while I took the living room couch. Last night was much better, as both boys had really solid sleeps, and today they seemed in good spirits. Boogie were flowing freely, but I hope the worst is past them. Let's see what happens the minute I turn off the computer and go to sleep. As it's 1AM right now, I'm tempting the gods that I'll be up listening to someone crying very soon.

Took my daughter to the Car Show on Friday - it was hilarious! Went with three other guys and their kids, and it was the funniest thing watching all these 4 and 5 and 6 year olds run from car to car to car, jumping in and out, and basically beating them all up. Will definitely do it again next year!!!

Writing is going well. Trying to work in a new scene involving my main bad guy. I hope it makes sense and adds something to the story. Time will tell. OK, enough for now. G'night!!!
