So much to read...so little time!!

My reading list seems to grow exponentially every day or two. I was reading the latest Fangoria mag and read a great review for a book called Four and Twenty Blackbirds by Cherie Priest - http://wicked_wish.livejournal.com/, and I'll end up buying it this weekend. Then I go read the latest posts on Storytellers Unplugged - www.storytellersunplugged.com - and that leads me to books by Steven Saville - http://www.darkfantastique.com/books.html. And with this upcoming Writers Boot Camp sponsored by Borderlands, I want to read at least one book by the authors who are leading the charge. So, I purchased The Blood of the Lamb by Thomas Monteleone, Fog Heart by Thomas Tessier and I'm still working on the right Jack Ketchum book to read :) And of course if I spend more than two minutes on Amazon researching books to read, that leads to me dozens of authors and books. WOW. Will I ever have enough time to read all the books i want to read??!?!?!?!?

Regarding my own book - I'm now on page 95. Basically, and i'm not sure if I ever mentioned this or not, I had written 110 pages over a year ago, and was told by a bunch of people to change it from 1st person to 3rd person for all kinds of reasons. So I've gone back and made all the basic changes, and in the process have been able to expand what I originally wrote by at least 30 pages. I've added new scenes, new characters, new chapters. By the time I catch up with the old page 110, I estimate I'll be on at least page 150 in the new version. And I'm still wrestling with adding a couple more chapters focusing on diff. characters. This is definitely a good thing!!

LOST rules!!!! Can't wait to see what happened on the other side of the island. I've also been watching Invasion, and I'm torn about the show. Too many stupid things happening over and over and over to the same family...but I'm incredibly curious about the underwater alien thingies and the role everyone plays. Prison Break, on the other hand - WOW!!! Another amazing show. Reminds me of 24. My concern is that next year the show is a letdown from this year. But I'm sticking with it...OK, nuff said for now.
